This is the first of two new recipes for you today! This recipe is perfect for this time of year, with that autumn chill in the air. This recipe pairs PERFECTLY with our other new recipe for Pecan Praline Honey Butter.
Ingredients You'll Need:
- 1 c pumpkin puree
- 2/3 c The Honey Jar honey
- 1/2 c oil (avocado or vegetable work great)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-3/4 c all purpose flour
- 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t baking powder
- non-stick cooking spray
Instructions:
Preheat over to 350° F. Spray 8x8 baking pan with cooking spray.
Combine pumpkin puree, honey, oil, eggs, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Mix Well.
Add flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg to the wet ingredients. Mix until combined.
Pour mixture into oiled backing pan. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center of cake comes out clean.
