Honey Lollipops

How about a sweet little treat during this season of sweetness? These honey lollipops are quick and easy to make and use only three ingredients. Sure to please anyone with a sweet tooth, they’re a simple way to show a little love.

You will need

Instructions

  1. Mix the sugar and water together in a saucepan.
  2. Set heat to medium-high.
  3. Stir until the sugar dissolves (similar to making simple syrup).
  4. Once the mixture is boiling, turn off the heat, add honey, and stir until combined.
  5. Turn heat back on to medium-high and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until a candy thermometer reads 300°F.
  6. Turn off the heat and let the mixture settle briefly.
  7. Carefully ladle the hot mixture into silicone candy or lollipop molds with sticks in place.
    • Optional: Pour onto parchment paper in coin-sized circles and place a lollipop stick into each circle.

Safety note: Hot sugar can cause severe burns. Use caution and keep children and pets away from the stove.

  1. Let cool for 1 hour before removing from molds or parchment paper.
  2. Wrap in cellophane or parchment to share.
