We've got a surprise today! We're bringing you not one, but TWO variations on an old classic: baked beans! We're calling the first one Crowd Pleaser. This is a classic baked bean flavor that the whole group will like. The second option is called Sweet N Sassy. This is the one you reach for when classic just isn't enough, when it needs an extra little something, when you're ready to change it up! Both of these are absolutely delicious! We couldn't decide which one to share, so you get both!

YOU WILL NEED:

Crowd Pleaser:

  • 1/4 c chopped shallots
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 cans white Navy beans
  • 1/2 c clover honey
  • 1/2 c ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce (I used Cholula)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Sweet N Sassy:

  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1/4 c chopped shallots
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 cans white Navy beans
  • 1/2 c clover honey
  • 6 Tbsp chopped roasted red pepper (from a jar)
  • 4 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

**The instructions for these two variations are exactly the same. The only difference is the ingredients in "all other ingredients".
